Tyagaraja Aradhana is an annual musical tribute to Saint Composer Sri Tyagaraja (1767–1847), one of the greatest composers of Carnatic music. Artists and music lovers gather to honor him through group singing of the Pancharatna Kritis and performances of his compositions.
The event will be held in person at: Radha Krishna Temple
1450 North Watters Road, Allen, Texas, USA
Virtual participation is also available for out-of-state and international devotees.
The Pancharatna Kritis are five of the most celebrated compositions of Saint Tyagaraja, traditionally sung together in a group during Tyagaraja Aradhana as a mark of devotion and respect.
Participants must follow these rules:* Only Tyagaraja Kritis are permitted
* Maximum performance duration: 7 minutes
* Pancharatna Kritis are not allowed for solo performances
* Raga Alapana, Kalpana Swarams, and Niraval are not permitted
The registration process and payment details remain the same as last year. Participants are encouraged to register early to confirm their slot.
The 179th Tyagaraja Aradhana will be celebrated on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Radha Krishna Temple in Allen, Texas.

All singers, students, gurus, and Carnatic music enthusiasts are invited to participate in the group singing of the Pancharatna Kritis. Prior registration is required.
Yes. Violinists, veena players, flutists, and other instrumentalists are welcome to register and perform Tyagaraja Kritis, following the event guidelines.
Yes. Out-of-state and international participants may submit a recorded video (maximum 7 minutes). Submission details will be shared after registration.
