• Apply Marathi grammar: Tenses, Singular/Plural, Gender, Nouns, Adjectives
• Form correct and meaningful sentences using proper verbs
• Read and understand passages (7–15 sentences)
• Write clear, simple, well-structured sentences in Marathi
Kids will learn to:
• Read, pronounce, and write Marathi with basic grammar
• Numbers up to 100 and Jodakshar (compound letters)
• Advanced clock concepts
• Vocabulary: relatives, festivals, animal body parts
• Read and write using picture-based prompts
• Form and speak complete sentences (3–7 sentences)
• Basic information about Maharashtra
• Translate between Marathi and English
Kids will learn to:
• Read, speak, and write basic Marathi
• Malakshare (vowels & consonants) and Barakhadi
• Read and write numbers (1–50)
• Basic vocabulary: Colors, Days, Fruits, Vegetables, Animals
• Days, months, and basic clock concepts
• Simple Shlokas and Kavitas (poems)
• Confident self-introduction in Marathi
• Year-long program from August, 2026 – May 2027
• Every Sunday · 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM CST
• Ages 6 and up
• No prior knowledge required to join Beginner level

The Marathi language classes at Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas help students learn Marathi through structured speaking, reading, writing, and Marathi language learning activities. These classes are suitable for beginners as well as growing learners.
Classes are held every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM CST. They run from August to May 2027.
The classes are open to students aged 6 and above. No prior knowledge is required to join the Beginner Marathi Class. Students may join Intermediate and Advanced classes after successfully passing the respective level tests.
The annual fee for the Marathi language classes from August 2026 to May 2027 is $200.
No prior Marathi language knowledge is required for the Beginner Marathi Class. The Intermediate and Advanced Marathi Classes require students to pass level assessments before enrolling.
