What poojas are available during Mahashivratri at the temple?

During Mahashivratri celebrations at Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas, devotees can participate in

1. Jal / Water Abhishek (Free)
2. Rudrabhishek with Pandit Ji
3. Lord Shiv Samuhik Pooja
4. 1008 Shivling Pooja (Sahasraling Archana)
5. Shiv-Parvati Leela (symbolic wedding enactment)

Each pooja is conducted as per Vedic traditions.

Is Jal Abhishek available throughout the event?

Yes. Jal / Water Abhishek (Free) is available every day, including Mahashivratri day, primarily at Gopishwar Mahadev. On Mahashivratri, Abhishek is available:

1. Early morning
2. After major poojas
3. Throughout the day in scheduled slots

Do I need to register or pay for poojas in advance?

Free poojas (like Jal Abhishek) do not require registration.

Paid poojas such as Rudrabhishek and Samuhik Pooja require seva registration.
We strongly recommend registering early, as slots may be limited.

Can families participate together in poojas?

Yes. Most poojas are family-friendly, including:

Who performs the poojas?

All major poojas are performed by experienced Pandit Ji, including Rudrabhishek at Gopishwar Mahadev and Samuhik Pooja at CICE, following proper rituals and chanting.

Where is the event being held?

All events take place within the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas campus, including:

5. Front of the 25’ Mahadev (grand stairway)

Is parking available at the temple?

Yes. Free on-site parking is available for all visitors. During peak hours (especially Mahashivratri evening), please allow extra time and follow volunteer guidance.

Are food and prasadam available?

Yes. Prasadam / Mahaprasad will be served on select days and after major poojas and kirtans. Please check daily announcements at the temple.

Are restrooms and seating arrangements available?

Yes. The temple campus has:

1. Clean restroom facilities
2. Seating arrangements in Prayer Hall and CICE

For longer programs, devotees are advised to arrive early.

Is the temple open the whole day on Mahashivratri?

Yes. On Mahashivratri day, the temple remains open all day, with poojas, kirtans, and cultural programs scheduled from early morning till late night.
