Visitor Guidelines

Review the official Visitor Guidelines for Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas before attending, registering, or participating in any temple event, program, workshop, pooja, yoga, meditation, or online session. These guidelines explain participation terms, safety responsibilities, media consent, online event policies, registration rules, and temple conduct expectations.

By visiting Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas (RKT) or attending or registering for any RKT/JKYog event (in-person or online), I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following:

I voluntarily assume all risks of participation, including physical, mental, emotional, environmental, and communicable disease risks, as well as risks related to physical activity, weather, outdoor conditions, wet or slippery floors, marble surfaces, stairs, crowds, and travel. I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating and accept full responsibility for my health and safety.

I release, waive, and forever discharge RKT/JKYog and their officers, trustees, employees, teachers, assistants, volunteers, organizers, contractors, and affiliates (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, injuries, accidents, illness, death, medical or legal fees, property loss, or damages arising from my participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Released Parties harmless from any claims, costs, damages, or attorney fees arising from my actions or omissions, and I agree to pay for any property damage I negligently, recklessly, or intentionally cause.

For in-person events, I understand that I am responsible for my mobility, safety, and personal belongings, and that the Temple may deny entry or remove any participant for safety, behavioral, or policy reasons. For minors or elders attending with me, I accept full responsibility for their supervision and safety.

For online or broadcast participation, I understand that events may be livestreamed, recorded, or publicly shared, and I may appear in such media. I am responsible for my own technology and environment and agree that RKT/JKYog is not liable for technical issues, service interruptions, data exposure, or platform failures. I agree not to record or redistribute event content without permission.

I ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that participation in any program, including participation in the yoga and meditation program, has inherent risks. I have full knowledge of the nature and extent of all risks associated with yoga, meditation, and pranayam/breathing exercise. I assume all risks and hazards to incidental to the conduct of the activities. Registration Fee is non‑refundable.

I understand that all instruction (including yoga, meditation, wellness, or diet-related content) is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical or professional advice. I authorize emergency medical care if needed and accept responsibility for any related costs.

I consent to photography, video recording, livestreaming, and the use of my likeness for promotional, educational, or informational purposes. I consent to receive communications from RKT/JKYog and to be added to the email list, including overriding DNC/NDNC registrations. I understand some workshops, poojas, and activities may require paid registration and agree to all fees and policies.

I agree to follow all temple rules and acknowledge that no alcohol, tobacco, illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous items are permitted. I understand that parking, outdoor activities, and environmental conditions involve their own risks, and the Temple is not liable for accidents or damage involving vehicles or property.

This Agreement is governed by Texas law. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Collin County, Texas. Invalid provisions do not affect the remainder, and this Agreement represents the entire understanding regarding participation in the Event.

By attending the event, registering or clicking “Submit,” I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to these terms for myself and any minors under my care.

Production effects

By attending this event, each attendee acknowledges and accepts that the program may include theatrical haze, laser lighting, flashing and strobe effects, loud amplified music, and crowded indoor conditions.

These effects may affect individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, light or sound sensitivity, respiratory sensitivities, anxiety in crowded environments, or other medical conditions. Attendees are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for themselves and for any minors in their care.

Voluntary attendance

Attendance is voluntary. By entering and remaining at the event, attendees acknowledge and voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with these conditions and agree to follow all venue, staff, security, and safety instructions.

Anyone experiencing discomfort or adverse symptoms should immediately move away from the affected area and seek assistance.

Photography and recording

The event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise audio/video recorded. By attending, participants consent to being photographed or recorded and authorize the organizers to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, and display such recordings, including their image, likeness, and voice, for social media, promotional, marketing, archival, and related organizational purposes, without additional compensation. All event recordings produced or commissioned by the organizers shall remain the property of the organizers, subject to applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the organizers, venue, affiliates, staff, volunteers, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from the ordinary and disclosed conditions of the event, except where liability cannot legally be waived or limited.
