Children aged 6 and above can join the Telugu Language Classes at Radha Krishna Temple Dallas. No prior knowledge of Telugu is required.
Classes begin in mid August, 2026 until May, 2027. Sessions are held every Friday from 6:30 PM. Each class is 1 hour long.
The Telugu classes are held at Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas, 1450 N Watters Road, Allen, TX 75013.
Kids will learn to speak, read, and write basic Telugu including vowels (అచ్చులు), numbers from 1–50, Telugu shlokas, rhymes, festivals, and stories from Ramayanam, Bharatam, Bhagavatam, and Tenali Ramakrishna.
The regular annual fee is $200.
Yes. Kids will learn basic English to Telugu words and simple English to Telugu translation as part of vocabulary-building, along with speaking practice, reading, writing, shlokas, rhymes, and stories.
Speaking practice includes introductions, simple everyday conversations, and talking about family members such as grandparents, maternal uncle and aunt, and their importance in Indian culture.
If your child misses a session, we’ll provide class summaries or materials to help them catch up. Depending on the level and availability, occasional makeup support may also be offered.
