Participants will learn the correct pronunciation of slokas, the meaning of each name in the Vishnu Sahasranama, Sanskrit grammar basics like Sandhi and Samasa, and the spiritual significance of chanting the names of Sri Vishnu. The course also prepares devotees to join the weekly Vishnu Sahasranamavali chanting at the temple.
The full 6-month course fee is only $60, making it an accessible opportunity to learn and chant Vishnu Sahasranamavali with meaning and devotion.
The course is open to participants aged 9 and above. It is suitable for all levels, whether you are a beginner or looking to deepen your understanding of Vishnu Sahasranama and Sri Vishnu's divine glories.
The Vishnu Sahasranama class at RKT is a 6-month course designed to help participants learn Vishnu Sahasranama with meaning, proper chanting, and foundational Sanskrit grammar. It explores the divine names of Sri Vishnu and helps devotees understand the Vishnu Sahasranamavali deeply. Participants may also receive reference materials, such as a विष्णु सहस्त्रनाम संस्कृत PDF, to support their learning.
The class begins on Saturday, October 18, 2025, and will be held weekly from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Radha Krishna Temple (RKT).
