FAQs

Summer Camp

What are the lunch and snack arrangements, and can my child bring food from home?

All meals and snacks are provided by the camp and are included in the camp price. Each day, lunch and snacks will be served under staff supervision. There is no need to send food from home unless your child has very specific dietary restrictions, in which case please discuss this with camp organizers in advance.

What should my child wear and bring each day to summer camp?

The recommended dress code includes the camp T-shirt, comfortable socks, and closed-toe shoes. Every camper should bring an extra pair of clothes, a refillable water bottle, and personal items such as sunscreen or hats. Please do not bring valuables. If your child needs medication during camp hours, parents must personally administer it.

Are parents required to stay during camp, and how is campus security ensured?

Parents are not required or expected to stay during camp hours; the camp is fully supervised by trained staff. The facility is secure, with limited access points, regular head counts, and child pick-up protocols to ensure safety at all times.

What if my child is sick or has special medical needs?

If your child is sick, please keep them home to prevent spreading illness. If a child becomes unwell at camp, parents will be contacted for pick-up. If your child needs medication during camp hours, parents must personally administer it.

Can my child attend only select days, and what if we’re late for drop-off?

Summer camp registration usually covers the full session. If daily attendance flexibility is needed, check with organizers as options vary. If you need to drop off your child after 9 am, notify camp staff in advance, and they will do their best to accommodate the situation.

What is the policy on registration cancellation, and how can parents get involved or ask questions?

Refunds for cancellation depend on the camp’s policy and timing: Review the official guidelines or contact the office for specifics. Parents can get involved by volunteering or sponsoring meals: Contact the camp organizer for opportunities. For any questions, concerns, or emergencies, reach out to https://rktdallas.live/camp-contact-us or Call 469-795-9130.
