Little Hands Big Hearts – Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas Supports DFW Homeless Children

little-hands-big-hearts-RKT

Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas has been doing significant work for disadvantaged children in DFW metroplex for the second year in a row! Through Little Hands Big Hearts program, Radha Krishna Temple has been collecting essential items for approximately 48,000 children with nothing more than the clothes on their back. A small act of kindness from each of us, coming together in support of these disadvantaged children in the DFW area, can make a world of difference in helping these little hands grab hold of a better future. Collection of essential items will run through 15 February 2016. All items collected will be handed off to Hope Supply Company, which supports 50 organizations in serving homeless children throughout five counties of the DFW metroplex.

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP THROUGH LITTLE HANDS BIG HEARTS

If you are living in DFW metroplex
Purchase items on the wish list of children’s essential items, and place them in the Bright Yellow Box of Hope at one of the drop-off locations. Alternatively, you may also:

  • Solicit or sponsor a large quantity of bulk donations (pickup may be available)
  • Serve as a drop-off point for our collection drive
  • Spread the word about the drive among your friends, encouraging them to donate

If you are not living in DFW metroplex
Disseminate this information to your friends and relatives in and around DFW metroplex.

JOIN HANDS TO PUT A SMILE BACK ON THE FACES OF THESE CHILDREN!

St. Francis of Assisi once said, “It is in giving that we receive.” What we take for granted is luxury for many. This is an easier way to support the underprivileged. Just collect the gently used clothes, lightly used toys, accessories, gadgets, etc., and drop them in the nearest drop-off location.
