65 years ago on the 14th of January, 1957, at the tender age of 34, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj was honored with the title of the Jagadguruttam - Supreme Jagadguru (master of the world) out of five Jagadgurus in history (the other four being Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Madhvacharya, Jagadguru Ramanujacharya , Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya). He was a scholar of divine proportions who stunned the creme de la creme of Sanskrit scholars - the "vidwans" of Kashi - into silent admiration with his resounding knowledge and reconciliation of the vast and confusing Vedic scriptures that they had spent their whole life trying to understand. In addition he was a Supreme rasik saint, the very personification of Bhakti, one in whose divine presence even hearts of stone could melt in the love of Shree Radha Krishna. Millions worldwide continue to be inspired by his nectarine compositions describing the loving pastimes of Shree Radha Krishna. He dedicated his whole life to selflessly spreading the wisdom of the Vedic scriptures and revealing the highest secrets of divine love (Raganuga Bhakti) for the benefit of all the souls.
