JKYog Retreats are spiritual getaways for the entire family. Be it a 6-year-old child, 14-year-old teen, 25-year-old young adult, 40-year-old middle-aged devotee, or a 60-year-old senior citizen, each and every age group enjoys this wonderful retreat, as it offers customized programs catered towards different age groups.

JKYog retreats are a great way to practically implement the spiritual, inspirational, and motivational knowledge under the direct guidance of H. H. Swami Mukundananda ji. It is a wonderful way to isolate one from material disturbances and focus on spiritual rejuvenation and transformation. Devotees eagerly await to attend the retreat, to recharge their batteries that enable them to progress towards their life mission with redoubled intensity and inspiration.

Retreats are beautifully designed programs and have multitude of different activities that cater to the holistic development of body, mind, and soul. There are physical yogāsan and pranāyām sessions, meditation sessions, soulful kirtans/chanting, enlightening discourses by Swamiji. Children have Bal-Mukund sessions where they learn slokas, Indian culture, character building values, and get to meet friends from similar background. For youth there are exclusive Bhagavad Gita sessions, Toastmasters sessions, and Music classes. Highlights of the retreat are the festival celebrations, parikrama where everyone chants kirtans outdoor, question & answer sessions with Swamiji.

    H. H. Swami Mukundananda ji himself conducts the Spiritual Retreats & Family Camp. In fact, Swamiji is available throughout the whole event and takes time to interact with devotees during breakfast, lunch, and dinner breaks as well. Swamiji is a world renowned spiritual teacher, philosopher, yogi, mentor, author, and is the founder of the yogic system called Jagadguru Kripaluji Yog, widely known as JKYog. Swamiji is a unique sanyasi (in the renounced order of life,) who has a distinguished technical (IIT) and management (IIM) educational background that complements his profound spiritual knowledge. He is the senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.

    Two retreats are held each year in the Dallas area. The Spiritual Retreat and Family Camp combined event takes place in the months of June/July. The event activities all take place at the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas and is typically a one week event. In September, we have the Labor Day Spiritual Retreat and this is a two and a half days event held in Denison, TX. Participants spend two nights at the event location, away from daily lives and completely immerse themselves in a spiritual and uplifting environment. 

     

    For the Spiritual retreat and Family Camp that takes place in July, the registration fee covers participation in the camp activities, three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and material for children’s activities.

    For the Labor Day Spiritual Retreat, the retreat registration fee covers stay for 2 nights and meals throughout the retreat. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Occupancy will be a shared accommodation with 2 adults per room. Family with at least 2 adults will get a room for themselves. Private room options are available for individuals.  

    Yes. Registration is mandatory for this program. You can register online OR you can register at the temple front desk.

    To derive maximum benefit, it is recommended that you attend all the days of the retreat. The program has been designed in a manner that the benefits compound as the retreat progresses,  and hence it is highly recommended that everyone attends all the sessions. Registration fee includes fee for all days.

    People of all ages and all mobility levels are welcome to attend JKYog Retreat. People from newborn to 80+ years have attended these programs and have enjoyed these. Devotees have derived benefits from the techniques taught in these programs.

    Sattvic vegetarian food will be served at the retreat. Breakfast will be continental while lunch and dinner will be Indian cuisine.
