International Women's Day Awards

On the 109th anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8, 2020, JKYog recognizes the achievements of women leaders of Indian origin in the DFW area, Texas under the following categories:

  • Leader
  • Emerging Youth Leader (30 years and under)

Towards this endeavor, JKYog invites open and self nominations of women who have achieved leadership  and excellence in the following categories. Nominations will be evaluated by a panel of experts from diverse fields and the nomination process is open  till midnight on March 10th, 2020. The awards will be presented by H.H Swami Mukundanandaji on March 14, 2020 at the Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas, worldwide headquarters of JKYog.

Frequently Asked Questions

What: JKYog Women in Leadership Awards -  calling for self and open nominations

Deadline for Nominations: March 10, 2020 by midnight

Where: Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas

How: Nominate yourself or someone you know  who have achieved excellence in one of the two specific categories.

Can there be multiple nominations for the same person? No. Only one nomination per person will be accepted. 

How many awards per subcategory will be given out? Only one award per subcategory will be awarded.

When will the awards be announced and awarded? The awards will be announced and awarded on March 14, 2020 after the keynote address by H.H.Swami Mukundananda. 

When do I need to check in? All nominees should checkin by 4:30 PM on March 14, 2020 at the Radha Krishna Temple.

Does applicant have to be present to receive the awards? Applicant should be present, if they are not, they will get an announcement/citation and should have someone else receive it on behalf of them.

How to Submit the Nomination: 

1) Submit a nomination HERE. Click on the right category and submit a 150 word summary of your work or of the work of the person you are nominating.

2) In addition, please email a detailed documentation of the achievements in the chosen field along with a CV to iwdawards@jkyog.org. Include the following in the email subject: Name, Category & Subcategory.
