About Diwali Mahotsav 2026
Celebrate Diwali Mahotsav 2026 at Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas with sacred poojas, the spectacular lighting of 11,111 diyas, vibrant cultural performances, dazzling fireworks, and a festive food festival. Join us November 5–10 as we welcome Shree Ram and Sita Ma home and immerse ourselves in the joy of devotion, the triumph of light over darkness, and the divine blessings of Diwali with family and friends!

Diwali Poojas
Govatsa Dwadashi, Dhanteras, Venkateswara Swami Abhishek, Swarnapushpa Archana, Naraka Chaturdashi, Mahalakshmi Pooja and Bhai Dooj, with sacred rituals and prayers.
Govardhan Pooja
Govardhan Pooja and Annakoot, honoring Lord Krishna and the mountain he lifted to protect the villagers.
Open Stage
Take the stage and share your talent: perform solo or in a group, singing or dance.
Diwali Leela
The Diwali Leela on stage, with dance and music showcasing our cultural heritage and spiritual stories.
Fireworks & Sparklers
Fireworks over the temple, and city-approved sparklers for kids. No outside fireworks are allowed.

Answers to common questions about visiting during Diwali.
- Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) is on Sunday, November 8, 2026. For Dallas, Drik Panchang lists the Lakshmi Puja muhurat as 5:52–7:46 PM CST; our Sri Dhanalakshmi/Mahalakshmi Pooja begins at 5:00 PM.
- Our Diwali celebration runs from Friday, October 30 to Tuesday, November 10, 2026, with the main festival days from Thursday, November 5 through Bhai Dooj on Tuesday, November 10.
- Parking is available at Radha Krishna Temple. If the Temple parking lot is full, additional parking is available at the following locations directly across the street: • Allen ISD: 1451 N. Watters Road, Allen, TX 75013 • Warehouse: 1303 N. Watters Road, Allen, TX 75013
- There will be a Food Festival featuring authentic Indian delicacies and traditional vegetarian meals, offering a delightful variety of food options.
- Fireworks will take place November 5–9, with Grand Fireworks Shows on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8. City-approved sparklers are permitted for children. For everyone's safety, outside fireworks are strictly prohibited on the Temple premises. Only city-approved fireworks provided onsite are allowed. Please do not bring or use personal fireworks.
