A visit to a national park where she saw a deer die from plastic consumption ignited Medha's desire to save the world from the perils of plastic waste. She is the Founder Innovator of Rudra Environmental Solutions that runs plants in Maharashtra transforming waste plastic into useable fuel. Through her efforts with Keshav Sita Memorial Trust, she raised awareness of waste plastic segregation at source. Over 1500000kg of waste plastic has been collected from 30000 homes through her endeavors.

Ms Reona Berry is a two time breast cancer survivor (first in 1990 and then again in 2019). Breast cancer related death rates are 45% higher for black women compared to white women in the recent times (https://www.cancer.org) Ms. Berry used her personal experience to fuel her mission of the AABCA to help others in the same position, disseminating information through materials, sharing survivors’ experiences to newly diagnosed patients and the community to help reduce the negative effects breast cancer has on the African American/Black women, families and communities. Ultimately, AABCA shares hope and love through the survivorship of breast cancer.
