Sunderkand

Every fourth Saturday of the month

Sunderkand is a prayer that glorifies Shree Hanuman Ji. Extracted from a chapter of Sage Valmiki’s Ramayan, this Paath describes Hanuman Ji’s journey to Lanka in the context of searching for Mother Sita who was kidnapped by Ravan. There are descriptions of the journey across the water to reach Lanka, meeting Mother Sita, the meeting with Ravan, and the events leading up to him setting Lanka on fire. Listening to these tales of Shree Ram’s greatest devotee with full attention is believed to bless the listener with intelligence, courage, optimism, and Bhakti for God.

The Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas (Allen) will start to offer this service on the last Saturday of each month.

  • Time: 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Where: Radha Krishna Temple,1450 N Watters Rd, Allen, TX 75013 (In-person only)
