
Join us for a captivating Kirtan instrumental skills workshop focused on taal (accompanying instruments) such as manjira/shakers/janjh/ghungru/etc.
In this workshop, you will have the incredible opportunity to refine your instrumental skills and learn the art of rhythm. During the workshop, you will be guided by experienced musicians who will teach you the intricacies of playing the manjira, shakers and more. You will learn various taals (rhythmic patterns) commonly used in Kirtan and how to effectively incorporate them into the chanting.

Additionally, you will contribute to a noble cause as 100% of the workshop fee will be directed towards supporting Education and Health Care for underprivileged children in rural India, as part of Swamiji's dream JKU project.
Registered participants will receive detailed information regarding the venue and timings. Please ensure you have your own instrument to fully immerse yourself in the rhythmic journey. You can also rent an instrument from RKT at $10/session. Please add that in comments if you would like to rent one and we will try our best to accommodate on first come first serve basis due to limited instruments available.
